Yesterday (29/3/10) I went bushwalking nude it was a nice warm overcast day. I stripped down only a few hundred metres up the track and continued on. I took to the sandstone ridges and after hearing a russle in the leaves while skirting around rock ledges came across a freshly shed brown snake skin 5 1/2 foot long, it was still moist and had an unusual smell to it, I took it home and oiled and salted it to keep it in its undamaged condition. On the way back on the ridge top I heard a wallaby and it did not travel far so I followed the sound and came across it. I grabbed its tail as it could not hop properly. After calming it down I checked its legs out, no breaks but it appeard to have muscle damage. It was a male, it had a long claw mark on its back legs as if it had been fighting another wallaby. I had about 3 or 4 kilometres to my car and it was too heavy to carry so I left it for nature to take its course.
I continued walking and by the time I got back to my car I had worked up a good sweat even although I was naked. I felt good to exercise naked and I hope to get out more often before it gets too cold. If anyone is interested in accompanying me get in contact.
